Peter Lewis
is a Senior Lecturer in Community Media in the Department of Applied Social
Sciences at London Metropolitan University, a Visiting Research Associate in the
Department of Media and Communications at the London School of Economics, and
Visiting Professor in Radio at Sunderland University. Crosstalk is a successor to META-Europe and earlier projects,
discussed in From the Margins to the Cutting Edge - Community Media and
Empowerment (Hampton Press, 2006), co-authored with Susan Jones. He is
Associate Editor of The Radio Journal: International Studies in Broadcast and
Audio Media (to find at the
website of Intellect Books). With Jerry Booth, he wrote The Invisible
Medium: Public, Commercial and Community Radio (Macmillan 1989). His recent
